John managed to combine a career in business and IT
project management with music and after taking early retirement was
able to concentrate full-time on various music-related
projects. He has composed in excess of one hundred and forty works
to-date, including four musicals, dozens of songs,
various suites for piano, orchestra and chamber music,
several choral works and solo organ and piano pieces.
As well as his musical
projects he keeps in close touch with the project
management profession, and has recently updated his
seminal works in the areas of quality, risk and
programme management. His thought-leadership in these
areas is valued world-wide.
His interest and research
in the decorative arts has earned him respect from
museums, auction houses and the antiques trade, and he
has published and contributed to several books and
papers in this field.
