Landscapes for String Sextet

Landscapes currently comprises five pieces of easy to intermediate difficulty for string players: A Water Meadow, Hogarth Roundabout, Morning at Loch Earn, Broadway Tower and Hanley Town Centre. The first piece represents a lush, green landscape and is in direct contrast to the second piece, which evokes the hustle and bustle of a famous traffic hot spot at Chiswick in West London. The third piece brings the calm of a serene landscape, followed by the tower at Broadway in the Cotswold, looming large in the landscape and seen for miles around. The last piece depicts the busy nature of the centre of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. The work is 14.5 minutes in duration. Soundbites are available under "Works".
