Longton is a piece for clarinet quartet from the Six Towns Suite. It is scored for two Clarinets in Bb, a Sopranino Clarinet in Eb and a Bass Clarinet in Bb (with German notation).   Longton is one of the original six pottery-making towns making up the conurbation of Stoke-on-Trent. The piece is a playful scherzo, marked Allegro molto, and is approx. 2 minutes 30 in duration.
