Cooper's Cafe is a
jazzy piece for piano of short duration. The recurring triplet motif
moves it along at a moderate swing tempo. It is Elementary to
Intermediate in difficulty. The soundbite plays the complete piece.
The piece is based on the opening music of John Bartlett's second
musical, which is set in a West London cafe and deals with the busy
interactions of customers, their loves, lives and intrigue. On the surface all
appears normal, but an undercurrent of sinister proportions
threatens the calm.
